Well done to those who braved the weather to attend the opening of the new Bishopdale Library.
It was great to see both Isleworth and Breens students performing together at a wonderful community event. Thank you to Maaka and Norm, our lovely Kapa Haka tutors. The children represented their schools well as they performed at the opening. In the audience we saw the mayor, Lianne Dalziel and local MP Hon Jerry Brownlee. Everyone was treated to morning tea and there were lots of activities on offer for families. We look forward to having a close relationship with the library which is a great asset to our community.,By Viola Kalauta
