Who is Team Wairere? (A Metaphorical Poem)

Students in Team Wairere have had fun recently, sharing our creative, metaphorical writing with two other classes in New Zealand. This experience, called, “Get New Zealand Writing,” was sponsored by Warehouse Stationery, and over 3000 classes across New Zealand took part! We learned to write some comparisons using figurative language. Please let us know what you think of our metaphor poem.
