Santa Parade - Senior Kapa Haka Performance

Isleworth has been invited to participate in the Santa Parade for a second year. If your child would like to be part of this wonderful event they need to be available from 1:15pm to 3:15pm on Sunday 3rd December. Depending on the size of our truck, numbers may be limited. Notices were sent home today. Please return permission slips asap before Tuesday 28/11.

Kapa Haka and Pasifika Group - Upcoming Performances

Please put the following dates in your diaries. Hereora Cultural Festival: Mon/Tues 11-12th September Junior and Senior Kapa Haka and Pasifika Groups, 6pm at the Aurora Centre.  Tūhono Kapa Haka Competition: Fri 22nd September Senior Kapa Haka Performance Group, 4pm at Hillview Christian School. Tickets and performance details for the Hereora Festival will come home next Thursday, and the following Thursday for Tūhono. Please look out for these in your child’s bag, as tickets will be limited. Ngā mihi Rachel, Viola and Janet, Cultural Team

Orchards in Schools Programme

Today the Nature Ninjas worked with Mary and Richard from the Horticultural Society to plant the trees they donated to our school. We have plum, pear, plum cot and apple trees. We also have some feijoa shrubs to plant. We look forward to having the whole school on board learning and working in the orchard. Big mihi to the staff and children who helped make this happen.

Shared Kai -End of Term Friday

As it is the end of the term on Friday and the end of our Matariki celebrations, our whānau classes are going to host a lunch with shared kai. Please bring donations of food to your child's whānau class on Friday in the morning before school. (Please keep in mind, we will not be able to heat anything).

Buddy Class Time

Room 9 and 4V made Chinese fortune tellers and Nian monster masks to mark Chinese New Year, at buddy class this morning. 




Waitangi Inquiry
