On Monday we held an International Day for our Isleworth School students. It was marvelous to see such a diverse range of countries represented within our school that, I'm sure, further encouraged both an appreciation and love of our school friend's identity. Tree Planting Opportunity

We need 2-3 parents to help transport a group of students on Friday 2nd November. A small group of students will travel by car to Styx River in Belfast, to plant some trees. This social action is linked to our learning around the dangers faced by our tuna/eel. This is part of the Camellia Project, celebrating 150 years of NZ Women’s Suffrage. We need approximately 200 bottles by 11th September. Please deliver bottles to Room 4 THANKS!

Wairere trip to Styx Mill is on tomorrow!!

Students to wear school uniform, however clothing appropriate to the site and the weather forecast are needed e.g. outdoor shoes, jackets, hats, thermals, long pants etc. Children need a packed lunch and drink bottle. Bus departs Isleworth at 9:30 and leaves Styx Mill at 2 pm to return to school. Team Wairere
