Food for Thought

Amber's Mum took some photos at the supermarket of her group being food detectives.  We know we have to look at the per 100g column and check that fat is less than 10g, sugar is less than 10g, fibre is more than 5g and salt (sodium) is less than 400g. We learned that it's hard to find healthy stuff to eat!!
Thanks to all our parents who joined us for the morning.  I think everyone found it really worthwhile.  Thanks too to Reta, our nutritionist, who is full of wisdom.  We really appreciated the gift of free lunchboxes and we hope your free magnetic menu planner is getting used at home.
